GOAT Adventures was born from years of exploring Cyprus — from dramatic coastlines and hidden beaches to mountain trails, traditional villages, and places rarely found in guidebooks. We saw that many visitors never experience the true spirit of the island, and we set out to change that.

GOAT stands for Get Out And Travel — more than a name, it’s our philosophy. It reflects a slower, more thoughtful approach to travel that values connection, discovery, and respect for the places we explore. The name also honours one of Cyprus’s national animals, the goat, symbolising independence, resilience, and freedom — qualities that resonate strongly with the travellers we welcome.

Hi, I’m Melissa – Your Host at GOAT Adventures Cyprus!
Originally from South Africa, my love for travel has shaped so much of who I am. I later moved to England, and from there my adventures really took off — exploring both solo and in group travel, collecting stories, experiences, and lifelong friendships along the way.
Six years ago, I moved to Cyprus… and completely fell in love. From the hidden mountain villages to the sparkling coastline, this island captured my heart.
I’m passionate about adventure, discovering new places, meeting incredible people, and sharing stories. But more than anything, it’s my aim to help others come to Cyprus and fall in love with this beautiful country just like I did.
I want every guest to leave with amazing memories, new friendships, and plenty of laughs. Because for me, travel isn’t just about where you go — it’s about how you feel while you’re there.

Hi, I’m Mark – Your Host at GOAT Adventures Cyprus!
Adventure has always been a huge part of my life. As a qualified PADI Staff Instructor and Commercial Captain, I’m just as comfortable beneath the surface as I am out on the water. From diving into the underwater world to skippering boats and motor yachts up to 12 metres, the sea has always felt like home to me.
But my love for exploring doesn’t stop there. I’m also passionate about walking and discovering new places on foot.
I first moved to Cyprus in 2008 and quickly fell for the island’s charm. I have continued to explore, discovering, and deepening my love for this incredible island.
My aim is to help you experience the true Cyprus — the hidden corners, the local character, and the authentic spirit of the island. And being me, there will always be plenty of laughs along the way. I truly believe adventure should be fun.
